ART LUNCH: Find your dessert

We need to eat for our sustenance. I think art-making can be as valuable as eating. While it won’t keep our bodies operating, it will keep our hearts and minds well-fed. Let’s make some LOW skill art, follow our curiosities around it, write about it, and see what shows up. Maybe we’ll get a nugget of insight into what we need in our lives at the moment. Maybe we’ll giggle and feel some relief from the seriousness of our lives. No matter what, we will cheer each other’s bravery and presence in the space. Whatever shows up…IT’S ALL GOOD. IT’S ALL HELPFUL. IT’S ALL A WAY OF DEEPER CONNECTION WITH SELF AND OTHERS. So come play in this 1 1/2 hour workshop. Maybe our art will bring us a little dessert to sweeten our day.

*This workshop can be done with just the basic supplies of paper and pen/pencil. Color makes it extra fun and playful, so grab your favorites such as crayons, colored pencils, watercolors, etc. Don’t have any? Don’t worry. Use what you have. For art newbies, I recommend colored pencils and crayons!
